Take Kubo: 'Real Madrid were lucky tonight'

“Anyone who watched the game knows we [Sociedad] deserved to win. It’s a shame. I thought Real Madrid were lucky with the goal," former Real Madrid Castilla player Take Kubo told La Liga TV.

Kubo also slammed the referee for ruling out Sociedad's only goal for a foul on Aurelien Tchouameni in the buildup.

"I can only say that the player who lost the ball [Tchouaméni] was sleeping. In the UCL, this doesn’t get disallowed,” Kubo said.

We can only say Kubo is being a sore and bitter loser here. Real Madrid defended well and scored the winner despite making nine changes to their starting XI.

What's more, Sociedad had few chances in the game but all their three shots on target were well saved by Kepa. Kubo should watch the highlights maybe.
