'14 goals, 11 assists': Real Madrid identifies right-winger to replace Hazard

Real Madrid have identified in-form Bayer Leverkusen attacker Moussa Diaby as a player who could take over their right-wing position and make it his, per Marca.

Diaby has been phenomenal for Xabi Alonso's team this season netting 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions so far.

The French attacker is left-footed, fast and prefers to play on the right-wing. As you may know, Real Madrid have often been forced to improvise in that position with Rodrygo, Marco Asensio and even Fede Valverde playing there reluctantly.

However, the player signed for more than €100m to play that position was Eden Hazard but he flopped remarkably. On the left wing, Vinicius Jr. has been absolutely phenomenal for the last two seasons.

According to the source, Real Madrid will have to spend €50m to sign the 23-year-old Diaby this summer. Both Bayer and the player will not oppose Los Blancos if they're really serious to get the deal done in the summer.
