Arda Guler has become the talk of the town among Real Madrid fans. He scored an excellent brace in the 4-4 draw against Villarreal at the weekend.
In doing so, the Turkish winger has taken his tally to four goals scored in his last three appearances for Los Blancos.
Guler is riding high on momentum right now and just can’t stop scoring! If he can maintain his amazing form, fans could start pushing for him to start the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund.
The 19-year-old is at his most comfortable in the right-wing role and when he can drift into the central areas from that position.
Hence to fit him, Carlo Ancelotti will have to play a 4-3-3 formation against Dortmund. Guler would be on the right in this case.
He will support Vini Jr and Rodrygo, who will accompany the other two forward roles. Jude Bellingham will be the most advanced midfielder. Toni Kroos and Eduardo Camavinga would be behind him, with Aurelien Tchouameni unlikely to be fit for this.
This would mean Fede Valverde is benched. But on current form, Guler probably brings a bigger goal-scoring and creative threat than the Uruguayan.
Guler is definitely going to be in the squad to travel to Wembley for the final, but it remains to be seen if he actually gets to start it.
