'That frustrates me the most': Ten Hag reveals advice to Man United squad after Chelsea loss

Erik ten Hag had some words of advice for his Manchester United squad after they lost to Chelsea in stoppage time despite leading 3-2.

The Blues sneaked in two goals in the 99th minute as Man United collapsed miserably.

A similar situation surfaced in the 1-1 draw with Brentford, where the Red Devils had to settle for a single point after a late equaliser.

Before taking on an in-form Liverpool side, who are at the top of the table, Ten Hag revealed what he expects from his players.

At his pre-match press conference, quoted by 90Min, the boss said: "I said today to the players, we have to make better decisions, it's our strength.

"You saw again how we score from counters - we can be such a massive threat.

"And we have seen an example with tempo, how we can beat our opponents, where we are unstoppable.

"But we have to read when to keep the ball, especially when you are winning. Keep the ball, pass and move and switch the play instead of giving the ball away or going only into long balls. Bring the ball into the opponent's half, keep passing, discourage the opponent.

"But then if you have to defend you have to do it proper and we made the wrong decisions. And on individual errors and that's very frustrating if you're playing a good game."

Man United cannot afford another loss to Liverpool after dropping points in both games since the international break ended in March.
