Souness resumes Casemiro criticism

Graeme Souness has one again taken aim at Casemiro, this time slamming the Brazilian's display in the 2–1 win away at Luton Town last Sunday.

He told talkSPORT: "Fouls and infractions, this is not new, it's how he played at Real Madrid. He was famous for professional fouls, stopping breakaways, committing a foul, maybe taking a card for the cause because of a threatening situation. That was his career at Real Madrid. He's a steady player."

McKenna responds to Premier League links

Former Manchester United first-team coach Kieran McKenna, who is doing an incredible job at Ipswich Town, has responded to reports linking him with Crystal Palace, West Ham and Brentford.

He said: "I am enjoying my job here. That's where my focus is at the moment. Ultimately, in my career, Premier League is where I want to work and where I want to make an impact. I know the level, I have operated at that level."

Darren Fletcher could be sacked

Darren Fletcher has been named among the senior figures at Man United, who could face getting sacked by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, reports the MEN.

The former midfielder, who operates as technical director, could leave along with Matt Hargreaves - the club's transfer negotiator since last summer.

Darmian 'proud' of Man United spell

Matteo Darmian, who is competing for the Champions League and Serie A titles with Inter Milan this season, told Radio Serie A via TMW: "I chose Manchester United and England because I wanted to deal with a new reality. To this day I am very proud of what I did."

Although Darmian struggled to play regularly at Man United, the defender added: "I was enthusiastic about that transfer and today I can say that I am proud of what I did. It is one of, if not the most important championships in the world, full of great champions."
