Sir Jim Ratcliffe's OGC Nice storm to top of Ligue 1 table, outperforming PSG

Sir Jim Ratcliffe-owned OGC Nice have had an amazing start to the 2023/24 Ligue 1 season.

After the first nine games, the French side are now in the top of the table for the time being.

They are still unbeaten in the league and have picked up a point more than defending champions PSG. Interestingly, the reason behind Nice's form is their strong defensive shape as they have just conceded four goals in 9 games.

Nice could go down to second place if AS Monaco wins their match against FC Metz on Sunday (22 October).

Despite that, Nice are soaring this season and it looks like Ineos' good work is finally paying off.

Sir Jim is now poised to acquire 25% of the ownership stake at Man United and will push to take control of sporting decisions at Old Trafford.
