Premier League consider 'abolishing' point deductions for rule breaches – Liverpool fans say one thing

The Premier League consider 'abolishing' point deductions and introducing a 'luxury tax' instead, reports the Daily Mail's Mike Keegan.

Many clubs believe the Profit and Sustainability Rules don't work properly and the deductions Everton and Nottingham Forest faced didn't make sense.

The clubs could vote for the new 'punishment' system in June as 17 top-division teams are said to be ready for the change.

💭 wavey444 (Reddit): "What are the odds City don't get charged before this gets implemented?"

💭 Testy_Terrance (Reddit): "Haha... I'm sure somehow City will drag out their charges until this is in place, so they can just pay a fine and move on."

Manchester City allegedly have been warned about being thrown out of the Premier League if found guilty of breaching the Financial Fair Play rules. They are reportedly facing over 100 charges.
