Three brilliant feats set by Liverpool in thrilling Forest win

Liverpool kept it really late to pick up a narrow 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest to keep the Premier League title charge alive.

A late goal from Darwin Nunez in the 99th minute sealed the win, and the Uruguayan’s strike also became the latest match-winning goal scored by a Liverpool player in Premier League history.

Not just that, but Darwin’s stoppage-time winning strike is also the 18th  time that the Reds have scored a 90th minute winner under Jurgen Klopp – more than what any team have managed since the German took charge.

Alexis Mac Allister was the person who assisted the goal with a beautiful cross and he also managed to achieve a personal feat in the game.

The Argentine midfielder created six goal-scoring chances against Forest, the most he has personally ever created in a Premier League game.

The win now means that Liverpool continue to keep their distance over rivals Man City and Arsenal and will end the game week on top of the Premier League table.
