Liverpool had to wait for a really late winner from Darwin Nunez to pick up a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
The substitute scored a 99th-minute winning goal to help the Reds maintain their winning run and preserve the place at the top of the table.
However, one Arsenal fan on Twitter named ‘Welbeast’ was really excited at the prospect of seeing his title rivals play out a draw.
He made a series of tweets as the match entered the stoppage time in the second half, doing a count-down of every minute before the game finished.
In the end, the fan was left fantastically red-faced at seeing Nunez score with basically the last kick of the game and tweeted ‘Fcks sake’.
Liverpool extended their lead over Arsenal to five points with the win, although the Gunners are yet to play Sheffield United on Monday (4 March).
