Newcastle have included Divock Origi in their shortlist for the January transfer window, The Telegraph reports.

The Magpies are looking to sign a forward after Callum Wilson's injury, following the upcoming signing of Kieran Trippier from Atletico.

Origi is joined on the shortlist by former Liverpool forward Dominic Solanke who has scored 18 goals for Bournemouth in the Championship this season. Norwich’s Todd Cantwell and Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah are also considered by Newcastle.

As for Liverpool, they have reportedly placed a £7m valuation on Origi who has also been linked with some Serie A sides.

Despite Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane being at the African Cup of Nations for the foreseeable future, Liverpool reportedly will not stand in the way of a good offer if the player wants to move on.

This season, Origi has scored 5 goals in 10 games across all competitions for the Reds.
