Young talent George Earthy faced a tough start to his Premier League debut for West Ham. The 19-year-old midfielder came off the bench against Fulham but suffered a scary moment just three minutes in.

After the collision with teammate Edson Alvarez, Earthy left seemingly unconscious on the field.

Medical staff quickly intervened, providing vital treatment for about six minutes, including oxygen.

West Ham player was conscious when he was stretchered off, but he may need further checks at the hospital.

Manager David Moyes said: "It's been a head injury, he is awake and on his way to hospital. His first three or four touches were terrific, really disappointed for the boy. He has been doing ever so well in training. We will all look after him."
