Rodrigo Muniz brought to tears as he becomes the first Fulham player in 14 years to receive Player of the Month award

Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz had an emotional moment when he received the Premier League Player of the Month award from his teammates Willian and Andreas Pereira. The 22-year-old was in tears after being recognized for scoring four goals in as many games for Fulham in March.

Muniz's achievement is significant as he's the first Fulham player to win this award since goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer in 2010, and Louis Saha also won it back in August 2001.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Muniz admitted, "I don't know what to say," during the heartwarming moment with his Brazilian colleagues.

The striker's performance has been outstanding in the second half of the season. After struggling to secure a spot in Marco Silva's lineup and failing to score before February, Muniz has since netted eight goals, including impressive strikes against Aston Villa and Tottenham.
