Scoring in the Premier League is not for everyone but everyone who does wants to make it a special moment with a 'trademark' celebration. Not everyone understands it.
A fan nicknamed StevenageDave: "1-10 every week. What’s with the stupid, forced, unimaginative celebrations?
Making shapes with your fingers, a heart, a rectangle, saluting, darts, crossed forearms, bow & arrow…?
"It might be that I suddenly got old but stop it, just stop it. Stop it."
Perhaps the most common celebration this season is the one produced by James Maddison and Son Heung-min: they either throw imaginary darts or show rectangles with their fingers.
When Bukayo Saka scored against Spurs he did the same darts celebration but got trolled back in response.
