'No evidence': La Liga release VAR audio of Yamal's disallowed goal in Clasico – Barca second request denied

Lamine Yamal's 28th-minute disallowed effort in El Clasico has generated so much controversy that Barca are now considering asking for the game to be replayed if the VAR audio and the images of the incident are not released by La Liga.

The Spanish Football Federation RFEF have officially released the VAR audio of the incident. But they denied Barca's request to release the images looked at by VAR.

Here's a transcript of the audio conversion between the referee and VAR. for the incident

💬Linesman's voice: "For me, the ball doesn't go in at all, it's a corner."

💬VAR: "Let's check Cesar, wait a little, don't let him play the corner."

💬Referee Cesar Soto Grado explains to Gundogan: "We don't have goal-line technology, we are going to wait for the VAR review. Maybe it's a goal."

💬Referee Soto Grado to the VAR: "[Camly review the situation] We are in no hurry, it is a very important decision. The best thing is to wait."

💬VAR to ref: "We don't have any evidence that the ball went in. Restart the game with a corner kick."

It's shocking that a big league like La Liga still doesn't use goal-line technology in 2024.

Barcelona went on to lose the game 3-2 despite taking the leading twice in the game.
