"Barca are growing and recovering little by little. They will come back to Camp Nou and that changes a lot in terms of both marketing and merchandising. Then investors emerge, player sales... " Barcelona's football coordinator Bojan Krkic has told SER.
"I would dare to say that in the 2025/26 season, there may be a high probability that Haaland ends up at Barca. His agent has recently been at Camp Nou, his father was eating in Barcelona last week... there may be changes.
"He has a clause nobody knows about, but it seems that it is lower for the foreign [non-English] market. There is a very good relationship between Rafaela Pimienta [Haaland's agent] and the president of Barca," Bojan added.
It's great to hear such things from a person who actually works at the club. The future is bright after all?
Barcelona reportedly have started setting the stage for Erling Haaland's potential arrival in 2025 or 2026. The Catalans have had a meeting with the Norwegian's agent to discuss the player's long-term future; they've also scheduled a few meetings with Haaland's family.
Erling Haaland's current deal with Manchester City expires in 2027. The 23-year-old has scored 29 goals and delivered six assists in 35 appearances for the Citizens this season.
