He also beat the record for the most touches completed. The map shows he also covered quite a lot of distance.
Under Xavi, Barca centre-backs usually complete fewer than 100 passes per match – 70-80 is a classic.
His incredible passing stats aside, Todibo is currently the most in-form Nice player, per SofaScore. The centre-back is having yet another impressive campaign in Ligue 1.
The 23-year-old was linked with bigger clubs last summer. Barca keep 20 per cent from the player's future sale.
Todibo made just a few appearances for Barcelona before leaving the club for €8.5m.
