Tchouameni doubt for Champions League final after injury confirmed

Aurelien Tchouameni picked up an injury against Bayern in the Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday, it has been confirmed.

Real Madrid provided an update: "After the tests carried out today, he has been diagnosed with a stress injury to his left foot. Pending evaluation."

The club's medical report does not say anything about the midfielder's expected recovery date.

The Athletic, Cope and El Chiringuito all report that the Frenchman is a doubt for the Champions League final. The Whites are set to face Dortmund at Wembley on June 1.

L'Equipe add that Tchoaumeni has been playing through pain for the past few weeks. It became too much in the Bayern game and he had to be taken off after the hour's mark.
