Alphonso Davies asked if he would move to Real Madrid, told he 'plays like a man auditioning for a move'

Alphonso Davies came off the bench in the middle of the first half of the Real Madrid v Bayern game and scored the visitors' only goal. It didn't help his side as Los Blancos staged a late comeback to win 2-1.

The Canadian has been consistently linked with a move to the Bernabeu. Asked about his future, he told CBS Sports: "Will I play here at the Bernabéu? Right now, my agent is talking to Bayern. Whatever happens, I'm very grateful to Bayern."

He added about the game: "Against a team like Madrid, 1-0 is not enough. They’re not a team to give up."

Rio Ferdinand, who covered the game for TNT Sports, said that Davies 'played like a man auditioning for a move'.
