Real Madrid perform surprise gesture for Bayern legend ahead of 2nd leg – even Bayern didn't do it

Real Madrid have invited Oliver Kahn to watch the Whites against Bayern Munich live from the Santiago Bernabeu stands, reports Suddeutsche Zeitung's Philipp Schneider.

Surprisingly, even Bayern didn't come up with such a gesture for their legend. This probably has to do with the fact that the German had a scandalous exit following his stint as a board member.

Once again, Real Madrid prove it's them who are 'more than a club' these days. This gesture seems to be a way of showing respect for the 54-year-old.

Oliver Kahn faced the Whites 12 times in his player career, winning seven times and losing four clashes. He only kept one clean sheet against Real Madrid.
