'Rudiger effect' - Haaland's shocking record against Real Madrid

The Norwegian striker was barely involved in the thrilling 3-3 draw with Real Madrid in the first leg of their tie at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.

Haaland was controlled by Antonio Rudiger for most of the game and when he tried to break away from the German center-back, Aurelien Tchouameni stepped in to take care of him.

Even more shocking is the fact that he has failed to score against Real Madrid in more games (3) than any other opponent in his Champions League career.

Real Madrid defenders really have him in the pocket. The Norwegian star failed to make an impact in any of the games against them. Hopefully this tendency will continue on Wednesday.
