With June approaching, Real Madrid will once again be facing the task of dealing with contract renewals. There's currently six players with their deals at Bernabeu expiring in just three months.
And, according to Marca, Lucas Vaquez, Nacho Fernandez and Luka Modric have all been offered to continue at the club for another year. The decision to stay – or to leave – is up to the players themselves.
The 38-year-old Modric may still consider leaving as his playing time reduced drastically this campaign.
Vazquez and Nacho, on the other hand, are likely to accept the new deal.
Notably absent from the report is Toni Kroos, whose contract also expires this summer. However, this omission should not cause concern since the German's situation is being handled separately.
The midfielder has recently came out of international retirement, indicating he is keen to continue playing at a highest level. Besides, he remains a vital part of Ancelotti's plans, starting in 25 out of 37 games this season.
