La Liga have dropped the case regarding Jude Bellingham's alleged 'rapist' remark to Mason Greenwood, reports Marca's Miguel Angel Lara.
Real Madrid's midfielder won't be punished for his words during the La Liga clash against Getafe.
The case has been dismissed since it's not clear whether Bellingham said 'rapist' or 'ru**ish' in that episode. Although La Liga had hired a lip reader, it was reportedly impossible to clarify what exactly was said by the Englishman.
Earlier, it was reported that Greenwood himself asked to drop the case as he didn't want any fresh controversy surrounding him and Jude.
Mason Greenwood was accused of attempted rape, assault and coercive control as he allegedly abused his girlfriend during his time at Manchester United. After being cleared of charges, the forward resumed his career and left the Red Devils to join Getafe on loan.
