Alphonso Davies future 'more open than ever': explained

Alphonso Davies' future is 'more open than ever', according to reliable Florian Plettenberg.

Bayern Munich expect the Canadian rather to leave the club in the summer than to extend his current deal beyond 2025.

Real Madrid are willing to pay a maximum of €40-50m for the left-back whose contract expires next year. However, Bayern expect the Whites to lower the price. Personal terms of contract wouldn't be an issue.

The Whites remain the best-positioned side to land the star wing-back despite Barcelona's recent meeting with the player's agent. Davies is said to be open to the move too.

The 23-year-old has scored one goal and delivered three assists in 26 appearances for Bayern Munich this season. His contract expires in July 2025.
