Eden Hazard picks third player in Messi v Ronaldo debate - they met in Madrid

"For me, Messi is the one. People have different opinions. Ronaldo is the GOAT scorer, to bring you trophies. He will score goals when he is 50 years old," Eden Hazard said on the Obione Podcast.

"But I’m more style of play of Messi. But, for me, the greatest is Zidane. Then John Obi Mikel and Messi (laughs)," Hazard said.

Hazard speaks so highly of his former manager naming him the greatest to play the game. The Belgian could be right. Zizou is often overlooked because he wasn't a prolific scorer in his day.

Regardless, for a midfielder to win the Ballon d'Or and lead his country to two World Cup finals winning one, Zidane is arguably among the best players ever to lace a football boot.
