Benfica reject €100m offer for Enzo, name definitive price amid Real Madrid interest (reliability: 4 stars)

According to Record Portugal, Benfica have said no to Liverpool's €100m offer over Enzo Fernandez.

The Portuguese club insists that the World Cup winning midfielder will leave Stadio da Luz only if his release clause of €120m is activated. The other interesting parties such as Real Madrid and Manchester United have also been informed of it.

As per prior reports, Madrid are interested in Enzo as an alternative to Jude Bellingham.

This term so far, the 21-year-old has played 24 matches for Benfica and has recorded three goals and five assists. He has also been named the Young Player of the Tournament at the 2022 World Cup.
