Liverpool interested in Asensio move (reliability: 3 stars)

Liverpool are interested in Marco Asensio, as per Catalan outlet Diario Sport.

The winger is expected to push for an exit in January since he is unhappy with the amount of playing time he's been getting under Carlo Ancelotti.

This term so far, the 25-year-old has only played 68 minutes in five matches for Real Madrid, all coming off the bench.

Under Zinedine Zidane, however, Asensio was a regular starter. The Spaniard recorded seven goals and two assists in 48 matches last term.

Marco was linked with a move to Liverpool back in 2019 but ended up staying at the Santiago Bernabeu.
