Pochettino provides key fitness update on Sergio Ramos, return date revealed

Mauricio Pochettino confirmed in his press conference on Friday that Sergio Ramos will not make his debut this weekend against Clermont Foot.

“As for the game against Brugge, as the club has said, Sergio Ramos is still undergoing recovery and for this match, it will not be possible,” Pochettino added (h/t PSG Talk).

“It is not something that worries me. He is following the steps that he has to take,” The gaffer said.

Ramos is yet to feature for the Parisians since penning a 2-year deal in July. He's the only new signing yet to taste competitive action for PSG.

However, the club expects him to attain full fitness this month. The 35-year-old will return from injury on September 17, as per Transfermarkt.
