2 Premier League clubs enquire about signing Mason Greenwood

At least two Premier League sides have contacted Manchester United about possibly signing Mason Greenwood in the upcoming summer transfer window, The Telegraph understands.

Greenwood, 22, has also attracted attention from Barcelona - who are limited financially - and Real Madrid on the back of his impressive displays for Getafe on loan.

Getafe are believed to be keen on signing Greenwood permanently as well but Man United's £40 million to £45 million price tag would be beyond their financial capacity.

With 10 goals to his name this season, the English winger will reportedly seek a permanent transfer abroad rather than the Premier League.

The Telegraph claims Greenwood has settled in well in Spain and prefers to continue playing outside England.

If a permanent sale doesn't materialise this summer due to whatever reason, the club will explore another season-long loan.
