Jose Mourinho ‘would walk to Manchester’ for second Man United stint, club's stance on him revealed

According to the Manchester Evening News, Jose Mourinho is highly interested in returning to Man United.

The Portuguese manager would love to manage the Red Devils once again in the near future and has reportedly told his friends he would ‘walk to Manchester’ if need be.

With that being said, despite being a friend of Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Mourinho has not yet received any approach from the club. He feels that the Red Devils hierarchy do not want to appoint him again after the bitter way they parted back in 2018.

Mourinho was in charge of Man United from 2016 to 2018, helping the club win the Europa League, Carabao Cup and Community Shield – as well as finish second in the 2017/18 Premier League campaign.

He is currently unemployed since being sacked by AS Roma earlier this season and is waiting for the perfect opportunity to come back to management.
