Fans name the only post-Ferguson signing that can be considered a club legend - not Juan Mata

On Man United's subreddit, fans discussed who are the post-Ferguson signings who can be considered club legends. Most fans agree that if there is a player who has a shout here, it is Bruno Fernandes.

DoomDoesNotMop: "Legend is tough. The closest for me is Bruno—he has flaws, but he's been the best player over this period. I think he’s the only one worth considering."

CloudSmall4220: "Bruno gave his prime years to us when he could have gone elsewhere and been a multiple trophy winner"

flynnpippo: "Bruno is a certified legend no matter how much people want to hate on him. He’s been effectively our steven gerrard Since he came and would thrive in a good United team or any other top team"

Ignatius_Pop: "Mata was only ever ok for us. Nice guy, had a few great seasons at Chelsea but he was past his peak when we signed him. You could argue Bruno is a club legend. You could also argue he ain't Ander Herrera, maybe a cult hero rather than legend"

DaveDoesData: "Massive fan of Mata and by all accounts he’s an incredible person but a legend, no. Bruno I guess would be the most obvious choice, but even then I think attaching the legend status to him is a bit far. And that’s no discredit to him, because he’s world class but I think if you look at the actual legends we’ve had it’s very difficult to come close."
