Burnley referee appointed

The 34-year-old referee has so far taken charge of just six top-flight games involving the Red Devils with a record of four wins and two draws.

Saha has confidence in Man United's mentality

Louis Saha believes Man United stars won't allow outside criticism to affect their preparations for the FA Cup final against Manchester City next month.

He told Betfred: "Inside their bubble they’re protected, so nobody's going to come into the camp and try and disrupt their preparation for the final, so I believe they will approach the final in a positive manner and show character."

Kompany hails Ten Hag

Vincent Kompany said about Erik ten Hag: "On the other side is a manager that I have a lot of respect for, that I know the quality of, that I've seen and faced in different leagues.

"He was at Ajax when I was in Belgium with Anderlecht, I've seen the quality of his teams and what he's been doing, so on the contrary, there's a form of respect there, but I'm more about our business.
