Four key stats that prove why Hojlund deserves better service from Man United teammates

Rasmus Hojlund ended his six-match goal drought for Man United by scoring in the 4-2 win over Sheffield United.

That became the 14th goal scored by the Danish forward in his debut season at Old Trafford, a pretty decent return for a young forward.

The goal scored by Hojlund, a smart close-range finish, was the kind you expect from a centre-forward and the kind of delivery he longs for too.

What is interesting is that all of Rasmus’ goals have been non-penalty ones and he has scored every 200 minutes for the Red Devils in his debut season.

Not just that, but his 14 goals have come from 53 shot attempts – of which 52.8% have been nailed on-target on the opposition goal.

Hojlund has scored goals from an average of 11.7 yards – which shows that he’s the kind of box striker that thrives in getting the ball inside the penalty area and putting away chances from there.

These stats only prove why the young forward deserves to receive better service in the box from his teammates and the Man United players need to get him the ball inside the box.
