'Never a penalty': some Man United fans rage as FA Cup semi-final forced to extra time

Man United have somehow managed to bottle a 3-0 lead to bring it to 3-3 and force extra-time against Coventry City in the FA Cup-semifinal.

Despite being in cruise control at the hour-mark, goals from Ellis Simms, Callum O'Hare and Haji Wright helped the opponents come back in the game.

However, some fans are infuriated with how the penalty leading to the third goal was given. The ball struck Aaron Wan-Bissaka's hand which he seemingly tried to retract, but the referee and VAR both gave the penalty anyways.

Here is how some supporters reacted to the last-minute drama.

UtdPlug: "I can’t… that isn’t a penalty, ask Ashley young."

Thomas: "Never a penalty as the Grealish one yesterday was not given so precedent by the ref and VAR set the standard yesterday. Bias referees."

MCHandrolled: "After the penalty turned down yesterday, this being given is criminal. And commentators not a peep. I want to be very clear that I am NOT suggesting violence against referees, BUT."

Joe Birch: "I actually can't believe that has been given as a penalty. In the same weekend we've seen graelish one not given in the other tie. Absolutely ridiculous."
