Sir Jim Ratcliffe has met with multiple managers since gaining control as Man United’s co-owner since Christmas 2023, claims The Athletic.
In fact, he invited a handful of managers to a Grenadier launch event in February. The likes of Roy Hodgson, Frank Lampard and current Brentford manager Thomas Frank were all invited.
Sir Jim opted to have a group dinner with the three, but it wasn’t because of his desire to hire either of them to replace Erik ten Hag.
The Man United co-owner just wants to gain more knowledge about the ins and outs of the elite English Football scene as aims to get the Red Devils back to the top of the Premier League.
Sir Jim has currently assigned Sir Dave Brailsford to do a thorough research of what is happening at Man United and advise him on the changes that must be made.
On the footballing matters, Man United are poised to rope in Dan Ashworth and Jason Wilcox to work with new CEO Omar Berrada from the summer.
