Rooney criticises Wan-Bissaka for lack of focus
Quoted by the MEN, Wayne Rooney expressed his disappointment with Aaron Wan-Bissaka's sloppiness in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool: "When you go back a bit, Bruno Fernandes is too easy to get past when Joe Gomez is taking his run down the line. Bruno dives in and lets him get past, which is why Wan-Bissaka then has to come out.
"If he stays on his feet you don’t get to this situation. But it’s very poor from Wan-Bissaka. It’s sloppy. When you go to ground like that, you run the risk of giving a penalty away."
Real Madrid keeping eye on Mainoo
According to Spanish outlet Don Diario, a three-tier source, Real Madrid are monitoring the progress of Kobbie Mainoo at Old Trafford.
Florentino Perez reportedly finds the prospect of signing Mainoo as 'interesting'.
Mata hilariously trolls Bruno and De Gea
Juan Mata has decided to throw some friendly banter at ex-Man United teammates Bruno Fernandes and David de Gea, who recently linked up.
He posted a picture of them and the poster of the famous Jim Carrey film 'Dumb and Dumber' below, hilariously trolling the two.
Mainoo likened to Ballon d'Or winner
Nemanja Vidic believes Kobbie Mainoo has the potential to be as good as - if not better - Ballon d'Or winner Luka Modric.
During an appearance on Premier League Productions, the former Man United midfielder said: "Mainoo has been fantastic, especially his awareness in these areas. He reminds me sometimes of Modric. He always feels who is behind him. You can see, he took the first touch, straight away moved to the side, then it was a great strike. He's difficult to defend against."
