Man United are in the early stages of drawing up their wishlist of possible midfield targets for the summer transfer window, claims CBS Sports’ Ben Jacobs.
The exact amount which the Red Devils might be willing to pay for a new midfielder depends on how much funding they can generate from selling unnecessary players.
With that being said, two midfielders that the club is attracted to are Wolves man Joao Gomes and Leicester City star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Gomes has been impressing for Wolves in the Premier League, having made 25 appearances for them so far and contributing to three goals.
Dewsbury-Hall, meanwhile, has been absolutely dominant in the Championship and playing a key role in helping Leicester City try and get back to the Premier League.
The Englishman has scored 11 goals and provided 13 assists in 38 appearances, not just being able to move the ball around well but also consistently take part in goals.
Despite their admiration for both these midfielders, Man United haven’t yet made a final decision on whom to sign as the club is still looking to solve their upper-management issues first.
