Raphael Varane gives verdict on his fitness after sustaining another injury

Raphael Varane had to be taken off at half-time against Brentford after suffering another injury issue.

The French centre-back seemingly hurt himself after a tussle with Ivan Toney and was replaced with Harry Maguire during the break.

However, it appears that the injury issue for Varane isn’t as bad as some fans might’ve feared after he went off.

That is because the centre-back apparently told Manchester Evening News’ reporter Steve Railston that the injury ‘isn’t too bad’ as he left the Brentford Community Stadium.

Varane has been frustrated by a plethora of injury problems since joining Man United from Real Madrid in 2021 and the one suffered against Brentford was his 11th separate issue.
