Man United will allow 'unhappy' Christian Eriksen to leave this summer

According to Football Insider, a tier-three source, Manchester United will allow Christian Eriksen to leave this summer despite having a year left on his contract.

The Danish midfielder, 32, recently did an interview where he stated he's 'unhappy' about being on the bench.

Kobbie Mainoo's emergence has pushed Eriksen further down the pecking order and he's unlikely to play regularly hereafter.

Eriksen has appeared 20 times across competitions this season, mostly coming off the bench.

The report adds Eriksen has attracted offers from the Saudi Pro League, which could be his next destination.
