Man United are not at all interested in letting Mason Greenwood leave for cheap after he returns from his loan spell at Getafe.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Atletico Madrid has been bewildered by the Red Devils’ demands after showing an interest in possibly signing him.
The La Liga club have labelled the transfer fee set by Man United as ‘outrageous’ and is hesitant to make a move.
The Red Devils reportedly ideally want a fee of around €60m to sell Greenwood in the summer transfer window.
A major reason behind this is that Man United are looking ways to bolster their own summer transfer budget by generating extra funds from player sales.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for Getafe this season, having scored eight goals and provided five assists in 27 appearances.
