Jurgen Klopp has been criticized for the way he stormed out of an interview and made a disgusting remark at a Danish reporter Niels Christian Frederiksen after the loss to Man United in the FA Cup.
Christian Eriksen was asked about how he felt about that entire situation and told Tipsbladet: “I laughed a little at that. I happened to meet Per Frimann, who is his colleague on the plane on the way home.
"I know that Rasmus Højlund sat the whole flight home with Niels Christian so I think they had some good conversations.
“It’s journalism, and what they ask is not something you have anything to do with, but Klopp was obviously tired and annoyed after they had lost.”
Klopp is unlikely to be charged for his actions against the journalist, who is reportedly a Liverpool fan who was just trying to do his job. The Liverpool boss only proved himself as a sore loser after seeing his FA Cup winning dreams ended by a fantastic performance from Man United.
