Jurgen Klopp on facing Man United: 'I don’t know much about their season but I saw some good games'

"We will try to prepare," Jurgen Klopp said, quoted by The Metro, about Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final clash against Manchester United.

"Again we have a situation where we have played Thursday [in the Europa League] and we handled it.

"United have had a full week to prepare. Erik ten Hag knows how to play so he will line up some challenges but we have to be ready anyway.

"As much as it’s possible, I enjoy [these games]. I don’t know much about their season but I saw some good games, a lot of quality and injury problems.

"[Rasmus] Hojlund is available again. [Aaron] Wan-Bissaka is close. That obviously makes a difference, we will see on Sunday."

The Liverpool boss added: "It was always a tough place to go, it means everything to both fan groups, we know that.

"We try to show that on the pitch with the work rate but we never know. No guarantees, just opportunities, we will give it a try."

Liverpool travel to Old Trafford this weekend, representing a big hurdle for the Red Devils who are desperate to win the FA Cup.

Klopp is right though - Hojlund is back and so are Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire. If they can pick up where they left off, especially Hojlund, Liverpool could have a tough time.
