According to Marca, a tier-one Spanish source, Barcelona and Getafe are no longer interested in signing Mason Greenwood after Manchester United laid bare their €50 million asking price.
Greenwood, 22, has enjoyed a fine spell on loan at Getafe this season, scoring eight goals and assisting five more so far.
That led to Getafe's desire to keep him permanently while Barca were also monitoring the Englishman.
However, both clubs are now reportedly put off by Man United's demand which they believe is expensive.
Greenwood endured a troubled exit from Old Trafford after being dropped from the squad following the rape and assault charges by his partner. His future remains uncertain as he goes from strength to strength in La Liga.
