Speaking on Sky Sports last week, Roy Keane said: "Ollie Watkins could play for one of the top teams, couldn't he?
"Aston Villa are a top team but you're talking about bigger clubs, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City. That's a compliment to him.
"The kid is so sharp, he has a great shape to him. His movement is as good as any striker in the Premier League. He's having an amazing season."
28-year-old Watkins has emerged as a key player for Villa, scoring 16 goals in the Premier League and leading their charge for a top-four finish.
Man United, meanwhile, are looking to sign a striker in the summer transfer window to take some pressure of Rasmus Hojlund next season.
