West Ham's Antonio 'really rates' Hojlund

West Ham forward Michail Antonio is impressed by Rasmus Hojlund after watching the Manchester United striker score against his side on Sunday.

He told Sky Sports: "It's not about just scoring goals, it's about what you bring as well to the team and he brings a physicality, he's been able to get other people involved, he's a willing runner, and now obviously scoring the goals. The goal the scored yesterday was quality, the fake shot dragged onto his weak right foot, into the bottom corner, great strike through the ball. I really rate him."

Moyes highlights Martinez impact

Lisandro Martinez could be sidelined for eight weeks with a knee injury and David Moyes has highlighted the Argentine's importance to Man United.

Speaking about Sunday's game, the West Ham manager said: "He brings much greater calmness on the ball in their build-up play. I am not an expert on Man United but I think that makes them look more comfortable."

Harry Kane has named David Beckham as one of his biggest football inspirations growing up in England.

Speaking to the BBC, the Bayern Munich striker explained: "I used to look up to players like David Beckham. Now I’m in that situation – there are a lot of young boys and girls looking up to me. Looking at what I do, not just on the pitch but off the pitch as well. You listen to your role models. I would have done anything Beckham said when I was a kid."

Benfica boss happy with Fernandez

Benfica manager Roger Schmidt has expressed satisfaction at how Alvaro Fernandez is developing while there on loan till end of this season.

He told A Bola about the Man United loanee: "Alvaro is doing well in training. He has already played a few minutes, but in the future he could also play as a starter. He is working well, he is a player capable of quickly understanding tactical behaviours, he adapts quickly and I am looking forward to seeing him on the field."
