Manchester United were dealt another cruel hand as both Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw picked up injuries in our 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich.
When asked about the condition of the two players, Erik ten Hag told reporters: "I can't say in this moment.
"We obviously have to wait 24 hours and then we will have an assessment and diagnosis so we have to wait for it."
Maguire received treatment for a groin issue in the first half but had to come off the field eventually. He was replaced by Jonny Evans.
Meanwhile, Shaw also felt a strain in his hamstring during the break and did not get on the field for the second half.
The Red Devils have had to play without most of our senior defenders this season. Maguire was just regaining his form and losing him again now could be detrimental.
As for Shaw, we have hardly seen him play this season. With Tyrell Malacia also injured for a long time, Ten Hag may have to deploy on-loan defender Sergio Reguilon.
