Sheffield referee appointed
Michael Oliver will be taking charge of the Sheffield United vs Manchester United clash in the Premier League on Saturday, it has been confirmed.
The 38-year-old official has so far refereed 39 top-flight games involving the Red Devils with a record of 15 wins, 12 draws and 12 defeats.
Key Academy figure to be appointed
Man United are about to confirm Callum Tongue as the club's new Head of Local Recruitment as part of the Academy's revamp, as per Training Ground Guru.
Tongue is set to transition from his role as the Under-18s coach at Ipswich Town to a full-time role with the Red Devils after starting at the club this summer.

Uefa has fined Galatasaray for the behaviour of their supporters in the Champions League win at Manchester United earlier this month.
The Turkish champions have been ordered to pay 51,000 euros (£44,420) after 2,000 of their fans gained access to home sections of Old Trafford.
