Elanga opens up on Man United exit

Anthony Elanga is convinced that leaving Manchester United this summer was the right move for his career after failing to feature much under Erik ten Hag.

The 21-year-old winger told Fotbollskanalen: "I have to listen to myself now. Nottingham Forest was the right step for me and now I want to develop as a player and a person. I have a good coach who can help me a lot. Now I just want to show what I can do and score more goals and assists."

Potential Maguire replacement commits to his club

Edmond Tapsoba has put pen to paper on a contract extension with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, it was officially announced earlier this week.

The 24-year-old centre-back was among the players linked with a move to Man United as a replacement for Harry Maguire during his talks with West Ham.
