West Ham to return with fresh bid for Scott McTominay (reliability: 4 stars)

West Ham United could still make a move to sign Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay this summer.

According to a report from the Evening Standard, the Hammers are eyeing up a late transfer window move for the Scotsman. 

United previously rejected £30million bid from West Ham for the midfielder. Since then, David Moyes has made two midfield reinforcements. 

Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse joined from Ajax and Southampton respectively for a combined £65m

With Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo currently injured and having not added a new midfielder, it remains to be seen if Erik ten Hag will sanction McTominay's exit.
