Man United's biggest positives from Spurs defeat - shown in lineup

Man United suffered an embarrassing 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in their second game of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

Despite performing nicely in the first half, they completely lost the plot in the second half – conceding two poor goals to suffer a loss.

Even though most of the players’ performances was mostly way below par on the day, a few players did their jobs respectfully.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Andre Onana were probably among the only major positives for the Red Devils from the game.

Onana made a number of saves and was impressive with his distribution. He couldn’t do anything about either goal.

Wan-Bissaka was a bright spark going forward and kept Son Heung-Min on lockdown during his time on the pitch.

Apart from that, however, the majority of the players performed poorly and didn’t show enough hunger to get a win.
