Man United ready to terminate Bailly's contract amid transfer standoff (reliability: 4 stars)

Man United are willing to terminate Eric Bailly’s contract and allow him to join another club this summer, claims RMC Sport.

The Red Devils have struck an agreement with the centre-back to let him leave for free this summer.

This comes after Bailly’s potential move to Besiktas broke down, but he still has some suitors for himself.

Fulham are reportedly interested in signing him, while clubs like Saudi Arabia and Turkey are also keen.

Terminating Bailly’s contract prematurely will result in a loss for the Red Devils, who will need to pay him his entire wage until June 2024 even if they let him leave for free.

The 29-year-old made 113 appearances for Man United, winning the Carabao Cup and Europa League titles.
